Krismant Whattananarong is a full professor of technical education technology and a legal consultant. He has taught research in vocational/technical education and technology, administration of resources programs, philosophy of vocational/technical education, trends and issues in technical education technology, diffusion of innovations, and didactic for vocational/occupational training. He has been a major advisor of graduate students, both Master’s degree and Ph.D. students for over 25 years. His books and research publications have ranged from research and theories in innovations and educational technology to vocational/technical education and vocational competency. His primary focus has been on research and development in innovations and technology for education, vocational education and training (VET). His current interests are in the use of information technology in education, human resources development, quality assurance in vocational education and training, vocational skill development, work habit and work attitude training.
He is a member of university councils and academic councils both in public and private universities. There are varieties of his works pertaining to educational administration and academic affair, research auditor, reader, academic title examiner, committee chairman, legal advisor, etc. His many publications are in the form of research papers, academic papers, text books, books, weblog, website (https://www.krismant.com), and articles on online newspaper (https://www.thairath.co.th). He has also conducted research on the implementation of educational technology with focus on developing models to support meaningful and successful adaptations in diverse contexts.
In the academic social services, he was a director of animation film “The Buddha” in the year 2007. Prior to this, he was an advisor for animation series, educational media and speakers for many organizations. He was the founder of K-Radio 93.25 MHz, a university radio station in 2007. At present, he is a government officer in the autonomous university (KMUTNB) and continues to serve as a speaker, radio DJ, and advisor for the varieties of academic social events.
